When should my child see a dentist?

The AAPD (American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry) and AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics) recommend you take your child to a dentist within 6 months of them getting their first tooth, or starting at age 1. Most of that visit will be talking and answering questions. Following your child’s initial dental visit, they should be seen at least every 6 months for check-ups and cleanings.

Don't delay your first visit! You can have your child's first visit with us - we can provide answers to your questions and discuss your baby's growth, development, milestones to look out for, and recommend best practices for what to do at home to keep your child's mouth healthy!
